Description
Yew Tree House is a 17th to 18th century house with a rear wing added to the north end in 1801. It is constructed of rubble stone. The front features an old tiled roof with brick stacks at the gable ends and in the center, while the rear wing has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high and the west front has five irregular bays. It includes wooden leaded casements, with three 3-light and one 4-light window on the first floor. The ground floor has an irregular layout with half-glazed doors in moulded frames on bays two and four. All openings are topped with cambered brick arches. Inside, the central fireplace is adorned with herringbone tiles.
