Description

The Old Rectory is an early 19th-century former rectory house located in Chenies Village. It features three bays and two storeys, constructed of yellow stock brick. The building has moulded projecting flat eaves that extend to a hipped slate roof. The corners of the structure are accentuated with pilaster piers. The windows are recessed barred sashes with panelled reveals, which are reeded on the outer side. A central Doric porch with an entablature is present, along with a bay window on the left side. To the left, there is a colourwashed service wing that is set back and also has a slate roof.
