Description

Shepwhites is an estate cottage built in 1858 by the Bedford Estate and is similar in style to The Lodge on the village green. The cottage is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a tiled roof with three paired brick chimneystacks. It is two storeys high and has two windows, which are casements with leaded lights. The front of the building includes a right-side projecting gable with pendants, a left-side dormer also with pendants, and a central gabled porch that features pendants and a plank door.
