Description

This large barn, dating from the 18th century, is located to the south-west of Glory Farmhouse on Penn Fagnall Lane in Winchmore Hill. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, featuring four bays. The south side has full height gable projecting doors, with an out-shut on one side. The roof is a single purlin type supported by queen post trusses and curved braces. The barn exhibits good wall framing and is topped with an old tiled roof.
