Description
The Green is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of witchert that has been colourwashed and rendered, sitting on a rubblestone plinth, and features a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, with a hip at the left that sweeps down over a single storey addition. The entrance is located at the rear. The front of the cottage has irregular casements, including two modern shallow segmental oriel windows on the ground floor. The left addition has a small casement window, while the left bay features a two-light casement window on the first floor and a single light casement window in the centre in front of the stack. There is a central stack, and the right gable has a sash window on the first floor, with the gable itself being plastered.
