Description
The stable and attached boundary wall surrounding the graveyard of the Baptist Chapel dates from the early 19th century. It is a small brick building located in the corner of the graveyard, featuring an old tile roof and standing at one storey high. The stable has double doors facing the road, three ventilators, and a small door on the graveyard side that leads to a small room containing a copper. The boundary wall is attached and approximately 1 metre high, with a half round brick coping that curves up at two points and shallow brick buttresses at intervals. In front of the entrance to the chapel, there is a gateway with square brick piers topped with stone cappings and a simple iron gate. To the left of the entrance, there is a mounting block and large slabs of limestone attached to the boundary wall. This building is included for its group value.
