Description
Beachendon Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and extensions made in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and brick, topped with a patterned tile roof from the 19th century and features brick chimneys with 'V' pilasters. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three wide bays. The two bays on the left side of the southeast front have been restored and feature crow-stepped gables with stone copings. The left bay includes stone quoins and 19th-century stone mullion and transom windows. The right bays have brick quoins and window surrounds, with the centre bay's surrounds dating from the 18th century and the right bay's from the 19th century. The windows are barred wooden casements with segmental heads, with three-light windows on the main floors and two-light windows in the attic of the centre bay. The wider central bay has two windows on the first floor and a door to the right.
