Description
The Quart House, located at 99 Amersham High Street, is a building with an 18th-century front that conceals an earlier structure. It is constructed of red brick with a grey brick band at the first floor. The roof is made of machine and old tiles. The building stands two storeys high and features two double wing sash windows on the first floor, which have reveals, gauged brick flat arches, and projecting sills. On the right side, there is a six-fielded panelled door set in a reveal, topped with a semi-circular fanlight. In the centre, there is a sash window that matches those on the first floor. To the left, there is a high carriageway with an elliptical arch, which has a sign reading "Maltings Mews" in the spandrel. The rear elevation includes an 18th-century sash window positioned above the carriage arch.
