Description

Old Thatch is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered over time. It features whitewashed render, with the right half having a first-floor band course. The roof is thatched, and there are brick chimneys located to the right and between the left bays. The house is 1½ storeys tall and consists of four bays. The windows are 20th-century three-light leaded casements, with those on the first floor set into the thatch. The left bay is irregular and has a similar single casement. There is a paired casement in a blocked doorway to the right of the second bay. The thatch extends down over a porch projection that has a 20th-century door situated between the right bays. To the right, there is a 20th-century single-storey bay and small lean-to extensions at the rear. The building is included for its group value.
