Description
The Thatched House is a 17th-century house that has been altered, featuring a 20th-century cross wing on the right side. The exterior is whitewashed roughcast over a timber frame, with two left-hand bays and a thatched roof that is hipped to the left. There are rendered chimneys flanking the building and another chimney located between the right-hand bays. The house is 1½ storeys tall and has three bays, with the 20th-century bay on the right gabled to the front. The left-hand bays contain barred wooden casements, with a three-light window on the ground floor and two-light windows in the gabled eaves-line dormers. To the left, there is a flush-panelled door. The right-hand bay features leaded casements, with a three-light window on the ground floor and two two-light windows on the first floor, along with a panelled door that has a lean-to hood supported by cut brackets on the right side.
