Description
Paradise Cottage is a small house dating from the 15th century, with alterations made over time. It features whitewashed render over a timber frame and has three cruck trusses, although two of them are incomplete. The roof is covered with 20th-century pantiles and has raised eaves. There is an external chimney on the left gable and a small brick chimney on the right. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of two bays. The windows are wooden casements, with a three-light window on the ground floor to the left and a two-light window to the right. The first floor has 20th-century casements set in gabled semi-dormers, with two in the right-hand bay. The entrance is located in a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a timber-framed smoke hood.
