Description

This is a house, likely dating to the 17th century, although it was largely rebuilt in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with rectangular panels of 20th-century brick infill, and has a thatched roof with a central brick chimney stack. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high and has two bays. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements, arranged irregularly on the ground floor, with a single three-light window in the thatch on the first floor. A 20th-century lean-to porch has been built on the left side of the entrance. This building holds group value as a vernacular example within the village.
