Description

Canal Bridge Number 184, located to the east of New Mills, is a 19th-century bridge that spans the Grand Union Canal. It is a turnover bridge constructed of painted brick, featuring black brick copings and a recessed panel on each side of the main arch. A string course runs at roadway level. To the north of the bridge, there is a lock with gates that were dated 1964.
