Description

Camp Barn is a small barn dating from the 17th century that has been restored. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features an old tile roof with a coped gable and moulded kneelers. There is an off-centre brick stack. On the west side, there are three wooden mullion and transom windows, with the outer windows fitted with leaded lights. The east side includes garage and stable doors. The street-facing gable has a brass plaque commemorating the encampment of Cromwell's army around the barn in March 1644, prior to their attack on Hillesden House.
