Description
Pitch Green Farmhouse is a house dating back to the 17th century, with alterations and extensions from the 18th century. The left-hand bays have timber framing visible in the rear and end walls, while the front was rebuilt in the late 18th or 19th century using flint and brick and is now colourwashed. The right-hand bay is of colourwashed brick, featuring a narrow band course on the first floor. The roof is tiled, with a rebuilt brick chimney situated between the right bays. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor windows are irregular; a single-light window is on the left, a three-light barred wooden casement in the centre, and a horizontal sliding sash window on the right. The first floor has 20th-century three-light wooden casements and a small window positioned above a board door in a 20th-century brick and timber lean-to porch. A lean-to is also present at the rear.
