Description

The Old Thatch is an 18th-century cottage, extended around 1975. The original cottage and a south outbuilding are constructed of wattle and daub, colourwashed and rendered, set on a rubble stone plinth. A more recent north bay and south addition are of colourwashed render. The original cottage has a thatched roof, while the remainder of the building has old tiles, with a half-hipped roof facing the road. The cottage is two storeys high, with an additional two-storey bay to the north and a single-storey range to the south. There are modern, leaded casement windows, mostly with three lights. A door is situated to the right of the modern bay. A south gable stack is present on the thatched bay.
