Description
Moat Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of chequer brick and features first-floor band courses and offset brick eaves. The roof is raised with old tiles and has brick coping on the front gable. Originally, there were two brick chimneys at the rear, and one chimney on the front gable has been removed. The building is L-shaped and consists of one storey, an attic, and a basement.
The front gable has two single barred wooden windows in the basement, a paired barred wooden casement window on the main floor, and a paired leaded casement window in the attic, with half of the glass being old. To the right, there is a bay that is set back and contains a single leaded casement window. The left side has two bays, featuring a three-light barred wooden casement window on the left, two gabled dormers with paired casements, and a board door with a paired arch motif to the left of centre.
