Description
The Red Lion Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infilling and an old tile roof that has an irregular shape, half hipped at one end. The structure has two levels and a large chimney at the junction, with another chimney near the eastern end. There is a gabled eaves dormer with a three-light casement window in the lower western part of the building. The right-hand part has three three-light casements on the ground floor and two on the first floor, while the left-hand part includes a door with a small hood and a bay window on the ground floor. The interior has been altered but still retains old timbers and an inglenook fireplace.
