Description

Church End Cottage is an 18th-century house, originally an addition to Church Farmhouse (now No. 13). It was later extended in the 19th century. The cottage is of colourwashed rubble construction with brick dressings and an old tile roof. The east wing has colourwashed render on a witchert base, also with an old tile roof. The main part of the cottage consists of three bays and two storeys. It features triple-paned casement windows with cambered brick arches above them. Projecting brick eaves are visible. A cellar window is located to the right. A stack is situated between the left-hand bays, and another is within the left gable. A brick gable band runs along the top. The single-storey wing has one 2-light casement window.
