Description
The statue of Ceres, located approximately 60 metres east of Waddesdon Manor, is an early 18th-century Italian sculpture made of carved marble. It depicts a partially draped figure of Ceres, who is holding a sheaf of wheat and leaning against a tree trunk. The statue is set on a 19th-century pedestal made of veined marble, which features a moulded base and cornice.
