Description

A pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century, located on The Square in Brill. The houses are constructed of red brick, with a decorative band of vitreous brick headers visible just below the eaves. They have boarded eaves and a slate roof with brick chimneys. The design is two storeys, with two bays per house. Each house has four-pane sash windows with cambered heads. The ground floor window on the left side also features flush-panelled wooden shutters with original catches, and a 20th-century metal casement window is located on the first floor above a passage. A flush-panelled door with a cambered head is situated to the left, while a 20th-century door with a flat wooden head sits to the right. A 20th-century lean-to garage is attached to the right end. The houses are included in the listing for their group value.
