Description

These are a late 19th-century terrace of eight cottages, originally with a central Reading Room. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a machine-tile roof featuring a dog-toothed cornice. The cottages are two storeys high. The central Reading Room is advanced and gabled. The ground floor has a gabled porch and arched windows on either side. The first floor has French doors opening onto a balcony with wrought iron railings, and is flanked by modern windows. On either wing are two gabled porches, each flanked by arched casements above with balconies and iron railings.
