Description

Lear House is a house dating from around 1830. It is constructed of chequer brick with pale blue headers and features a hipped slate roof along with symmetrical brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and three bays. The ground floor has 4-pane sash windows, which are topped with pale gauged heads, while the first-floor windows have rendered and painted heads. The ground floor windows also include panelled wooden shutters, although one is missing. The central entrance features a 6-panelled door with a plain semi-circular fanlight above it. To the right, there is a lean-to with a similar door, and to the left, there is a similar block set back, made of darker brick with irregular casements and a sash window.
