Description

This is a house dating from the mid-18th century. Constructed of whitewashed brick, it features a half-hipped thatched roof and brick chimneys at each end. The facade displays wide strips of recessed brickwork, with timber projecting at the first-floor level of the central section. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high and has three small bays. The ground floor has wooden casement windows with single horizontal glazing bars, with a two-light window flanked by single-light windows, each with a board hood. The first floor has paired barred wooden casements set into the thatch, with the central window being smaller than the others. A 20th-century door, protected by a flat wooden hood supported on brackets, is centrally located. The building has group value.
