C16 altered and extended. Two storey. C16 part timber-framed with red brick nogging, old tile roof with 2 gables, the east one larger. Mid C17 wood mullioned and transomed windows to 1st floor; oculi in east gable, large projecting stack of C17 brick on east side. South elevation and south part of west front of mid C18 brick with band course between storeys and 3-light casements. North range with later double-hung sashes. North block (Herdsman's Cottage) with casements and half-hipped old tile roof. Mostly cambered openings. Interior has 2 doorways on 1st floor with moulded wood frames of C16 date.
