Description
Stampwell Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed house that has been refronted in the 18th century with brick. The building features three bays and two storeys, topped with an old tile roof. The northeast front showcases red brick refronting, a band course, and dentil eaves. It has gauged heads above triple casements, with some windows having leaded glass and others being barred. There is a blind panel over the door located between the left-hand bays, in front of a 17th-century stack. The entrance has a board door with a cut bracket hood. At the rear, there are two parallel timber-framed wings, and the rear elevation reveals exposed timber-framing. Inside, the house contains chamfered and stopped spine beams.
