Description
Nos 43 and 45 on High Street in Amersham are early 19th century buildings that have been refronted from earlier structures. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof, featuring two brick chimney stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have four three-light casement windows with segmental arches and leaded glazing. There is a door on the left that leads to a passage with exposed timbers in the wall, which provides access to No 45A at the rear of No 47. On the right side, there is a square bay window set on a brick plinth, complete with a cornice. To the right of the bay window, there is a door and a small window under a lintel, along with a three-light casement window, a door leading to No 43, and two additional three-light casement windows, all featuring segmental arches.
