Description
This is an 18th-century refronting of an earlier building, situated on the south side of Amersham High Street. The building is constructed of red brick with an old tile roof that continues with the adjoining building at No. 38. It has a gabled dormer and a coved cornice. The building is two storeys high. On the left-hand side is a four-panel door, topped with a four-pane rectangular fanlight and a bracketed hood. To the left of the door is an early 19th-century square bay with a brick plinth, cornice, and glazing bars. The first floor of the bay has two double-hung sashes with wooden surrounds.
