Description
The Dog and Duck Public House is a 17th-century timber-framed building with 19th-century additions at the front and rear, which has been restored. The road elevation features two storeys. On the ground floor, there is a glazed porch across the front, a central door, and two three-light casement windows on each side, complete with glazing bars. The first floor has two four-light casement windows that rise to dormers. Between these windows is a natural-coloured Dog and Duck modelled in plaster. The side elevation includes an old chimney with twin stacks. The building is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a tile roof. Inside, there is an open fireplace on the ground floor, and the first floor features a timber-framed partition between rooms, which is lath and plaster and has been restored.
