Description
The west range of stables at Langley Park, now the Bucks County Council Environmental Studies Centre, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with some burnt headers and features a slate roof. The building consists of nine bays, with the central three bays projecting and topped with a pediment. It is two storeys high, featuring a central arched carriageway with plank doors. There are blank windows on the ground floor on either side, while the upper floor has small square openings, with four being blank and five fitted with casements. A roundel is located in the pediment. The courtyard front includes three arched openings in the centre, flanked by cross windows on each side.
