Description

Larkins Green is a 17th-century house, altered and extended in the 18th century and later. The southern section of the house is the original part, a 2-bay timber-framed building with painted plaster infill and a tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic. A modern open gabled porch is positioned to the right of centre, with three modern casement windows. There are two modern hipped dormers in the roof. A large brick stack is present on the north gable, with the lower part of the stack being 17th-century brick. A single-window link connects the original section to a north block, a two-storey painted brick structure. This link joins with a higher 18th-century block, which is rendered and painted, and has a tiled roof. The 18th-century block has one modern 3-light casement window on each floor. Modern additions are located to the north of the building.
