Description
No. 223 Bow Road is a late 17th-century building featuring painted stucco with a parapet and a tiled roof. It has two storeys and two bay windows, one of which is two storeys tall while the other is located at the first floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The early 19th-century shop front includes double hung sashes with glazing bars set within an incased frame, complemented by plain pilasters. This building is noted as an interesting survival from its period.
