Description

Bow Bridge is a packhorse bridge that likely dates back to the 16th century, with a widening that occurred in the 20th century. The bridge is constructed of rubble and features 20th-century steel girders. It has a single segmental-pointed arch with an almost triangular profile. The bridge has been widened both upstream and downstream, with extensions supported by girders, and it includes parapets on the outer extensions.
