Description

Danny Bridge is a public road bridge that spans the River Clough, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble. The bridge features a low segmental arch that springs from a natural rock formation, with rubble voussoirs. The flat deck is protected by parapets that have flat coping stones and are slightly splayed outwards at both ends.
