Description
The building is a barn located to the north-east of the Old Rectory, likely serving as a tithe barn. It is an 'L' shaped bank barn from the 18th century, with the east wing being slightly newer than the north wing. The structure is made of coursed, squared rubble with quoins and features a graduated slate roof that is hipped at the angle, complete with stone copings and kneelers. The north elevation has two storeys and three doors side by side at the east end, providing access to the byre; all doors have chamfered stone surrounds and segmental heads. At the rear, where the two wings meet, each has a large access door with a chamfered stone surround, segmental head, and a projecting keystone. The walls are punctuated by several ventilation slits.
