Description

Rookery Farm is a house dating to 1722, with a later extension to the rear. The front of the house is wet-dashed with a pilaster on the south end. It has a graduated slate roof with stone copings, kneelers, and rendered end chimneys. The house is two storeys high, with four bays, three containing windows and one without. A recessed, part-glazed door sits centrally, set within a stone surround, and has an initialled and dated lintel above. There are two 19th-century sash windows without glazing bars to the left, and one to the right, all fitted with internal shutters. The first floor has three 19th-century sashes without glazing bars. Internally, the original panelled doors and the staircase with its turned balusters remain.
