Description

The building is a former coach house attached to the west end of Ashes, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys, featuring one bay with two openings. The building has quoins and board doors in the coach opening, which are supported by a rolled steel joist lintel. There is a vent on the first floor and a pigeoncote in the gable. On the right side, there are two small openings with ashlar surrounds and impost jambs on the ground floor, a window in the central pitching door opening, and two additional small openings with ashlar surrounds on the first floor.
