Description
Ewegales Bridge is a public road bridge that spans the River Dee. It was likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century, as it shares similar construction features with Cowgill Bridge, which is dated 1702. The bridge is made of coursed sandstone rubble and has rounded coping stones. It features a low segmental arch constructed with rubble voussoirs and archbands, along with squinches. The parapets at both the north and south ends are splayed outwards.
