Description

Abbeylands is a house dating to circa 1820, with a front block built into an earlier 18th-century structure. It is constructed of slobbered rubble, with stone dressings. The house follows a central staircase plan and comprises two storeys and five bays. The central entrance features Tuscan engaged columns and an open pediment, with a six-panel door and a round-headed fanlight above. There are four ground-floor and five upper-floor windows, each with sash windows and sill bands to both floors. An eaves cornice runs along the top of the facade, and left- and right-hand eaves stacks are visible.
