Description

The game larder adjacent to Home Farm Cottage was built in 1871. It is an octagonal structure made of limestone ashlar, featuring rusticated sandstone quoins and surrounds. The roof is covered with slate and has lead ridges, along with an ornamental louvre. The building has a wooden cornice with pendants at the corners. The doorway has a triangular head and a panel above it displaying the Bective monogram and the date. There are segmental-headed windows fitted with louvred shutters, and the entrance features a plank door with ornamental hinges.
