Description
Kearstwick Hill is an 18th-century cottage with a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of roughcast with a slate roof and features three chimneys. The small central block has windows and a door with plain reveals, although the door and glazing are modern. There is a plaque with a cartouche that contains the incised initials "F.G.H. 1753". To the right of the central block is a 19th-century addition with two bays, featuring windows with sills and labels. The left side has a featureless slobbered rubble block. Inside the central block, the interior is heavily beamed, with a large bressumer above the fireplace and a collar roof supported by heavy purlins.
