Description

Oliver Bridge is a public road bridge located over Oliver Beck in Gawthrop. It is likely from the 17th century and is constructed of coursed rubble. The bridge features a small, almost semicircular arch made with rubble voussoirs. Its parapets have rounded coping, and the west end of the south parapet curves around to the south. Oliver Bridge serves as a central feature of the hamlet of Gawthrop.
