Description
This building is a bank barn located to the north-west of East Clint, likely dating from the 18th century, and has been altered over time. It is constructed of mixed random rubble with a stone slate roof, which includes some blue slate on the outshut. The barn has four bays aligned on a north-south axis facing east. There is a short outshut attached to the second bay, a longer outshut to the fourth bay, and a wagon doorway under a carried down roof that bridges the outshuts at the third bay. The south gable wall features a doorway that leads to a former hayloft. The north gable has through-stones at four levels and shippon doorways on either side of a fixed six-pane window. The rear of the barn includes through-stones and two small lean-to outhouses. Inside, the barn has roof trusses that date from the 19th or 20th century.
