Description
The barn adjoining Dykelands Farmhouse was built in 1703 and features slobbered rubble with a stone slate roof. It stands two storeys high and consists of two bays. A central waggon porch is present, and to the right, there is a loft entrance that has a chamfered stone surround and a basket-arched head. This entrance includes a date in a shallow recessed panel along with the initials I R. The roof has a slightly steeper pitch than that of the farmhouse and is supported by a queen post structure. There is a 19th-century extension to the left of the waggon porch. The barn is noted for its group value with Dykelands Farmhouse.
