Description

This barn, located 200 meters west of Eshton Hall, likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with red sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. On the roadside, there is a large cart entry with a segmental arch, which has punched dressings and tooled margins. To the right of the cart entry, there are four low chamfered breathers for the mistal. The gable wall has two blocked doorways and a third doorway, which appears to be a later addition, positioned in the center. The barn has coped gables with kneelers, and the left gable is blind. A finial is located at the left apex.
