Description

The Beeches (Lower Cottage) is a cottage from the early 19th century, featuring pebbledash with painted stone dressings and a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a double front. The central entrance is set within a mid-19th century wooden porch, which includes a six-panel door. Each storey has two windows that have plain surrounds and 20-pane sash designs. The eaves are adorned with shaped modillions. There is a gable end on the left side and a ridge stack on the right. This building is included for its group value.
