Description

Ridge End House is a house built in 1747, with later alterations. It is constructed of ashlar and rubblestone, topped with a graduated slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners. To the right of the left-hand bay, there is a board door with a lintel above that features rounded webs in the corners. Above this door, a stone is inscribed with 'MIS' and the year 1747. To the left of the left-hand bay, there is another board door in a plain stone surround. All the windows are 2-light flat-faced mullions. The house has shaped kneelers and stone coping, along with two ridge stacks.
