Description

No 8 Silver Street is a house from the late 18th century, built of hammer-dressed rubblestone with a stone slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features one first-floor window, with its gable end facing the road. The gable end includes a 20th-century glazed door and a four-pane sash window above it. The gable has coping, a shaped kneeler, and an end stack. On the right side of the building, there is a sash window with glazing bars set in a raised stone surround on the left. The first floor has another sash window with glazing bars in a raised stone surround, along with a tall landing window to the right. The second floor features an unequal nine-pane sash window in a raised surround.
