Description

Grange Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a graduated stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two bays. It features quoins (decorative corner stones). The central entrance has a four-panel door surmounted by a fanlight, set within a slightly projecting surround with impost stones and a keystone. Flanking the entrance and on the first floor are windows with three lights, featuring flat-faced mullions. The centre lights of these windows are wider than the outer ones, and they all have 20th-century small-pane glazing. Banded chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. The building is included on the list for its group value.
