Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-to-late 18th century. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance is framed by a moulded surround and cornice, featuring a 20th-century nine-panel door and a rectangular fanlight. The ground floor and upper floor windows in the left-hand bay are two-light windows with plain surrounds and recessed flat-faced mullions, fitted with late 19th-century sashes without glazing bars. The remaining windows are single-light, also with late 19th-century four-panel sashes. The eaves are ornamented with shaped modillions. The right-hand gable has broad coping stones, as does the junction with the adjacent barn to the left. Ridge stacks are located at each end of the roof. The right-hand return side features an entrance with a re-set 17th-century surround and a basket-arched decorated lintel.
